The North Goa Planning and Development Authority (NGPDA) has extended by a month the deadline for filing objections to the current land use map and register before it.
Objections to the land use map and register can now be filed up to May 27.
Earlier in March, the NGPDA had issued the notice informing the general public of the exercise to prepare the current (present) land-use map and register of the Taleigao planning area. It had also permitted a 30-day period for submitting objections which had ended on April 27 last.
However, now the authority has extended the deadline by another 30 days and objections will have to be submitted to the office of the NGPDA member-secretary in writing latest by May 27.
The draft land use map and register is available for public viewing at the NGPDA office at Mala and also at the local bodies, including the CCP and the Taleigao panchayat.
Taleigao planning area is a fast urbanising locale and much sought after in the real estate market.
