The Divine Mercy Movement (DMM) of the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman will conduct three Lenten retreats on Divine Mercy across the diocese.
The first two retreats will be held on March 7 (Tuesday) at St Francis Xavier’s Church (Bhatpal) and Our Lady of Grace Church (Margao).
The Retreat at Bhatpal will be held from 9 am to 5 pm. It includes Adoration to the Blessed Sacrament, Reflections on the Word of God, Way of the Cross, Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet and Eucharistic Celebration and preached by Fr. Silvestre D’Souza OCD (President of the Divine Mercy Movement), Fr Freddy Lobo (Member of the Executive Committee of DMM and Parish Priest of St Francis Xavier’s Church), Fr Teodosio Fernandes OCD and Fr Joseph Correia.
The Retreat at Our Lady of Grace Church, Margao will be held from 4 pm to 8 pm. It includes Adoration to the Blessed Sacrament, Reflections on the Word of God and Eucharistic celebration, preached by Fr Simião Fernandes (Director, Pastoral Institute, Old Goa), Fr Kennet Teles (Parish Priest, Our Lady of Health Church, Sancoale) and Fr Joe Rodrigues (Parish Priest, Our Lady of Grace Church, Margao).
The third retreat will be held at St Alex’s Church, Calangute on March 22 from 4.30 pm to 8 pm.
It includes Eucharistic Celebration, Reflections on the Word of God and Adoration to the Blessed Sacrament and will be Preached by Fr Simião Fernandes (Director, Pastoral Institute, Old Goa), Fr Polly Lobo (Parish Priest, St Alex Church, Calangute), Fr Elvis Fernandes (Spiritual Director, Seminary of Our Lady, Saligão) and Fr Aleston Vaz (Prefect, Seminary of Our Lady, Saligão).
