PANAJI: The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Regional Office, Goa, has urged employers across the state to take advantage of VISHWAS 2026, a one-time settlement scheme introduced by the Ministry of Labour and Employment to resolve pending provident fund dispute cases.
The scheme, which came into effect on June 29, 2026, will remain open for six months, offering employers an opportunity to settle long-pending cases through a simplified online process while benefiting from substantially reduced damages.
According to EPFO Goa, the scheme covers pending litigation cases, finalised recovery cases where dues are yet to be recovered, and pre-adjudication cases where notices have been issued or are yet to be issued under Section 14B of the EPF & MP Act and Section 128 of the Code on Social Security.
Officials said one of the key advantages of the scheme is the significant reduction in damages for eligible establishments. Employers opting for the scheme can also avoid prolonged legal proceedings before judicial forums and will receive a digitally signed VISHWAS Certificate upon successful settlement.
Applications can be submitted online through the EPFO Employer Portal using a Digital Signature or e-Sign after payment of the applicable interest amount and compliance with the prescribed conditions.
The EPFO Regional Office in Goa has appealed to all eligible employers to make use of the limited-time initiative to resolve pending disputes, reduce financial liabilities and ensure compliance with provident fund regulations.
For more information, employers may contact the EPFO Regional Office at Patto Plaza, Panaji.
