Equipment donated to old age home
VASCO: Residents of an old aged home at Bogmalo got a rare opportunity to interact with officials of Vijaya Bank - MD & CEO Kishore Kumar Sansi and other senior officials on Friday.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Vijaya Bank on Friday donated appliances and healthcare equipment worth Rs 15 lakh to 'Our Home' an old age home at Bogmalo.
The appliances and healthcare equipment donated to the Bogmalo home included a washing machine, three ceiling fans, deep freezer, commercial grinder, hospital bed, wheel chair and two steel cupboards.
Sansi handed over the letter of acknowledgement to an official of the old aged home in the presence of Dy GM Vinayak Bhishikar, other bank officials and residents of the home. Others present at the function included Fr Lourdino Periera and Dr Carla Souza.
