MAPUSA: A 12-bore arm was recently stolen from a locked house in Colvale.
Mapusa police informed that the owner, Aleixo Dias of Colvale, had locked his house and left to his daughter’s home in Collem on April 19.
When Dias returned to his house in Colvale on April 30, he found the lock of the front door broken. He also discovered that his 12-bore gun and some clothes were stolen from his home.
The owner filed the complaint on May 3.
An offence was registered under section 454, 457 and 380 of the IPC and PSI Tejas Kumar Naik is investigating further.
