ISKCON’s maha jagruti in Goa
PANAJI: ISKCON will be organizing a two-day festival of spiritual awakening -Maha Jagruti 2016, to celebrate it's 50th anniversary. Spiritual leader Radhanath Swami, who is visiting Goa for the first time will address the festival, which will be held at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee stadium, near Goa University, Bambolim, on February 13 and 14, at 6.30 pm.
A book ‘The Journey Home’ by Radhanath Swami would be launched by Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar at 7.30 pm on February 13. This will be followed by the Swamiji’s discourse on 'Crossing the Border Line' from his autobiography. Other programmes will be 'Me & My Mind' a pantomime by Goloka Players, Mumbai followed by bhajans and kirtans.
On the second day, there will be a discourse on Valentine Day by Swamiji titled 'Yoga of Love' and kirtan by Swamiji. Union Minister Shripad Naik will also attend. Other programmes include 'The Healing Touch' - a drama by Goloka Players, Mumbai and bhajans and kirtans.
