PANAJI
NCP on Thursday alleged that Panaji MLA Sidharth Kuncalienkar had “falsely” claimed that several projects in the city were completed by him.
NCP spokesperson Trajano D’Mello stated, “The decongestion of Panaji by shifting the schools was not done by Sidharth, the land was acquired during the Congress-NCP regime.” He sought to point out that tendering of a bridge does not mean it has been completed.
Taking a dig at Panaji legislator, D’Mello said, “I appeal to Sidharth, who is a young legislator, not to follow the footsteps of his predecessor and become a liar and manipulator. Because the truth is, the Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar does not want him to succeed and wants him make a fool of himself.”
It was informed that NCP VP Avinash Bhsole, who is a candidate for CCP elections, will be filing a complaint before the EC citing violation of code of conduct with Kuncalienkar announcing that Rs 60 cr has been sanctioned as part of the AMRUT scheme.
Raising a battle cry for CCP elections, NCP president Jose Philip D’Souza stated, “It is a time for all secular parties to come together to send the BJP home. Voters want all like-minded parties to come together and get rid of the BJP. We have to follow the
Bihar formula.”
