Parrikar to visit Karnataka for campaigning ahead of the upcoming assembly elections as a star campaigner

Mhadei issue shut; created by scribes: CM
PANAJI: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said he considered the Mhadei issue ‘closed' once again reiterating that the issue was entirely created by journalists.
Responding to questions from journalists over whether he had discussed the issue of Mhadei and the fallout of his letter to BS Yeddyurappa which said Goa will not oppose a justified demand from Karnataka over water, Parrikar said it was not something that would need to be discussed.
"Mhadei is neither my issue nor his (Prime Minister's) issue. It is not Goa's issue either. Y
ou yourselves are writing that the next Mhadei battle will be in court. The battle is in court. The Mhadei issue has been created by you to create news. It is not an issue for me. You created this issue for your news," Parrikar said.
Parrikar said that whatever happens henceforth will be before the Tribunal.
He said that he would be visiting Karnataka for campaigning ahead of the upcoming assembly elections as a star campaigner but when and where would be decided by the party.
"I will be going for campaigning in Karnataka," Parrikar replied when questioned about the possibility of him going there.
