Nationalist Congress Party leader Praful Patel on Tuesday announced that the party is gearing up to contest the upcoming Assembly polls in Goa and hinted that it was open for an alliance with non-BJP, non-Congress outfits.
The national leader of NCP, who is presently visiting the state, said that the restructuring of the party has begun. He is likely to return on November 22 for the next stage of this process.
He said NCP had gone out of its way to save Digambar Kamat-led government, but unfortunately the Congress does not respect friends and people who have actually helped it in the past.
