One arrested for causing death
MARGAO:The Colva police have arrested an Aurangabd native, who is suspected to have been involved in an accident which resulted in the death of a 23-year-old Cansaulim resident.
According to Colva police, the incident occurred on January 31, when the tractor driven by an Aurangabad native, which was proceeding from Majorda to Utorda, collided with a two-wheeler driven by one Alex (23), a resident of Cansaulim. Colva police informed that the youth succumbed to the injuries on way to hospital.
Upon getting information, the Colva police arrested the tractor driver, one Karbhari (22) and booked him under Sections 279, 304 A of IPC and Section 134 (a) (b) of MV Act.
Further investigations are in progress.
