Panel formation today to review RP suggestions

SANVORDEM: Deputy Chief Minister Francis D'Souza on Monday stated that a Steering Committee is expected to be formed on Tuesday to review suggestions on Regional Plan 2021 received from the public.

D'Souza was replying to a query from local reporters during the Curchorem Carnival float parade on Monday evening.

When a local reporter asked him to comment on the delay in forming the steering committee, D'Souza replied: “I was out of the State for the last three days. When I returned to Goa, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar was out of station. A decision to form the steering committee will be taken on Tuesday.”

“The committee will be formed at the meeting,” said the deputy chief minister, but he declined to reveal the members in the committee.
