Pernem bus stop opening soon
PERNEM: Panchayat Minister Rajendra Arlekar has stated that the Pernem bus stand will be inaugurated on Gudi Padwa day in April.
He was speaking after inspecting the ongoing work of Pernem bus stand. The minister was accompanied by Pernem Municipal Council (PMC) Chairperson Smita Kudtarkar, vice-chairperson Upendra Deshprabhu, councillors, Pernem BJP president Krishna Gawade and GSIDC general manager P V Nayak.
“The work of the Pernem bus stand was kept on hold for over 25 years, but it has now got a boost. The first phase of the bus stand will be inaugurated on Gudi Padwa,” Arlekar told the reporters.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi had assured to give 'Acche Din' and accordingly, 'Acche Din' can be seen coming to Pernem,” Arlekar added.
