Ponda Urban's branch opening
PONDA: The Ponda Urban Co-operative Credit Society Ltd will open its second branch at Dharbandora on January 30, at 4 pm.
Cooperation Minister Mahadev Naik will inaugurate the branch, while local MLA Ganesh Ganokar, ZP member Govind Gaonkar, Sarpanch Vinayak Gawas, registrar of Co-operative Societies Narayan Sawant, assistant registrar Pandurang Sawant, Kalidas Mainekar and others will be present on the occasion.
The society has two fixed deposit schemes - Shubh Laxmi and Shubmudra, which doubles money in 72 and 78 months respectively. Shubh Laxmi scheme is only females up to 18 years. Society vice-chairman Brahmanand Naik, secretary Vishnu Naik, treasurer Yeshwant Naik, BoDs Gurudas Naik, Gokuldas Naik, Bharat Naik and others were present the press briefing.
