Revora local dies in accident
MAPUSA: A 32-year-old motorcyclist died in a road mishap at Chaudi, Revora, on Sunday evening.
Mahesh Kotkar of Haliwada-Revora was thrown off the motorcycle after dashing a truck which was proceeding to Colvale at around 3.15 pm, Mapusa Police informed.
The injured Kotkar was rushed to the North Goa District Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
After the panchanama, the body was sent to GMC for post-mortem.
Police booked the truck driver Dilesh Prabhugaonkar and later arrested him. PSI Alvito Rodrigues and Head Constable Ulhas Raikar are investigating the case.
