SANGUEM
An attractive illumination project at the Salaulim Dam was inaugurated as part of the Independence Day celebrations and is expected to provide an added attraction for visitors to the dam.
The illumination was inaugurated by Water Resources Minister Subhash Shirodkar in the presence of Social Welfare Minister Subhash Phal Dessai, Superintending Engineer Rajan Kamble, Executive Engineer Shailesh Naik, Assistant Engineers Anjita Divkar and Reagan Dsouza, and Junior Engineer Swapnil D Divkar.
The illumination will remain open for public viewing for 15 consecutive days. Citizens will be able to enjoy the lighting free of charge from 6.30 pm to 9 pm during this period.
The initiative is expected to draw residents and visitors to the Salaulim Dam during the evening hours and add to the festive atmosphere surrounding Independence Day celebrations.
