Stone for gym laid in Keri
PONDA: Minister of State for Ayush Shripad Naik recently laid the foundation stone for a gymnasium at Satode-Keri in Priol constituency.
The gymnasium will be built at a cost of Rs 38 lakh from the MP fund. Minister for Craftsman and Training Deepak Dhavalikar, Sarpanch Ashok Gawade, Deputy Sarpanch Urmila Gawade, Panch Greesha Kerkar, former speaker Adv Vishwas Satarkar and others were present.
Shripad Naik said the government was committed for the progress of people.
"We will provide you all the infrastructure, but you have to make the best use of it. Health is very important, hence we should concentrate on exercise and other health tips,” he said.
He assured that it will be best gymnasium in Ponda taluka and appealed to the youth to make its good use of it.
Satarkar said it was a long-pending demand of the locals, which will be fulfilled within a short time. Amol Kerkar compered the programme while Ashok Gawade proposed the vote of thanks.
