In a tragic incident, a one-and-half year old toddler drowned after accidentally falling into a bucket of water at Valpoi on Tuesday evening.
According to reports, the boy was playing in his house, while his mother was in the kitchen.
While playing in the house, the toddler accidentally fell into a bucket filled with water. The mother then realised the toddler was missing and began searching for him, when she found him in the bucket of water.
The horrified mother rushed her son to the government hospital at Valpoi, but the medical officer declared him dead on arrival.
