Colva police have registered an offence under Section 353, 504 and 506 (ii) of IPC based on the complaint of the Deputy Director of Tourism (South), Margao, Roque X P Gracias, who claimed to have been allegedly abused at Majorda beach while he was on an official visit.
According to Colva police, the incident occurred on November 18 when the complainant claimed that he was allegedly abused by the suspect, Aleixo, a resident of Utorda, at Majorda beach while the complainant was on an official visit at Majorda and was giving instructions to the water sports operator regarding maintenance of queue system.
Further investigations are in progress.
