A man from Uccassim was arrested on charges of employing three minor children in his bakery.
Acting on a complaint filed by Child Line coordinator, Susan D’Souza, Mapusa police arrested Abdul Gani for employing three minors in his bakery unit.
Mapusa police along with the Child Line coordinator conducted the raid at the unit and rescued the three minors working in the bakery.
The three minors were later sent to the protective home at Merces.
Police arrested the accused under Section 374 IPC and Section 7(2) (5) and 8 (9) of Goa Children Act.
PSI Vijay Kumar Chodankar is investigating the case.
