Citing various irregularities in the recruitment of lower division clerks (LDC) and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), a vigilance probe has been sought into the recruitment process.
A complaint to this effect has been made to the Vigilance Director by some of the affected persons.
In the complaint, it has been pointed out that one of the vernacular daily had published a report in which it was pointed out that some candidates were given appointment letters without publication of merit list.
In the letter, the affected persons have also alleged that there was political influence in selection of the candidates.
