Today, in the bustling city, Chief Electoral Officer Ramesh Verma, IAS, inaugurated a voter awareness song titled ‘Zababdaren Motdan Kor’ composed by the team Zagrut Goenkar: Indian for Democracy. The event witnessed the presence of Vrunda M Desai, IRS, Expenditure Observer South Goa.
The Election Commission’s relentless efforts to enhance the accuracy of electoral rolls have been ongoing, with a particular focus on maximizing the registration of eligible voters and purging the rolls of any inaccuracies.
Addressing the gathering, Verma expressed his dedication to all voters and urged the public to turn out in large numbers to cast their votes, aiming for a record-breaking 100% voter turnout, a feat he believes is achievable only in Goa. He encouraged voters to ensure their participation along with their relatives and family members on May 7, 2024. The music is composed by Joe D Costa, with lyrics penned by John Aguiar and vocals by Joe.
