In her complaint, Ashwini has stated that her husband was a mentally strong person and it is not possible that he would commit suicide.
"He used to love his sons, Sambhav and Tanesh a lot. He was a responsible husband too. I strongly feel that my husband has been murdered. Hence, police should take this issue seriously and conduct investigation in the matter," states the complaint.
The complaint was filed by Raju Shirodkar, brother of the deceased Kishor Shirodkar on behalf of Ashwini.
Later speaking to media persons, Raju Shirodkar stated that since Ashwini was not well, she could not go to the Porvorim Police station. "If police take the help of CCTV cameras installed in business establishments by the side of the road in Porvorim, police might get some clues. My brother did not owe money to anybody as reported in the newspapers," said Raju.
"So far, nobody has come to us to claim the money. Some body must have spread these rumors. My brothers are capable of re-paying the loan if Kishor had taken," he said.
Kishor's friends are annoyed that police have not started conducting the investigation seriously. On Monday morning, the residents of Morjim along with Mandrem MLA Dayanand Sopte will carry a ‘morcha' to Porvorim Police station to demand enquiry into the death of Kishor Shirodkar.

PORVORIM: The wife of the deceased constable Kishor Shirodkar, Ashwini Shirodkar has suspected a foul play in the death of her husband.
She was speaking during Tara Kerkar's visit at the residence of the Shirodkar family at Morjim on Sunday.
Tara Kerkar of Savera NGO has condoled Kishor's death and helped his wife Ashwini to write a complaint, which was later filed at Porvorim Police station.
Speaking further, Ashwini informed that Kishor was in debt in 2013 and he used to frequently play Matka, but later he had stopped.
"He had taken a loan from a bank and from his friends. Later, we cleared the bank loan. He was not stressed due to the bank loan, which indicates that he cannot commit suicide," she said.
"There were some controversies between Kishor and some people and also the staff at the place where he worked. We had also filed a police complaint, but later we took it back as the matter was settled. Hence, I suspect that my husband is murdered," said Ashwini. Kishor's brother Rajan Shirodkar said:
"I had agreed to clear all his debts, but he refused. This shows that he didn't commit suicide due to the stress of the loan."
