2 Portuguese language courses at Panaji

CamÃµes-Centro de LÃngua Portuguesa is offering intensive online Portuguese Language Courses beginning from March 6 and March 13. The first one, Curso Ciple online (Certificado Inicial de PortuguÃªs LÃngua Estrangeira) will be at level A2.2 (60 hours) will start from March 6 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 4.30-6 pm.

The second one Curso Acesso offline (Certificado de Acesso ao PortuguÃªs LÃngua Estrangeira) is at level A1.1 (60 hours) and will begin on March 13 for three days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 6-8 pm.

The duration of both courses is 10 weeks with the online course having 75% synchronous (using the Zoom video- conferencing) and 25% asynchronous sessions (online audio and video tools designed by the teachers). MLA visits idle garbage project in Pernem

PANAJIPernem MLA Pravin Arlekar on Thursday inspected the garbage disposal project of the Pernem Municipal Council (PMC), which was constructed at the cost of Rs 3.75 crore and inaugurated in 2013, but is yet to be commissioned.Arlekar later instructed the municipal council to expedite the balance work on the project, so that it can be put to use.The MLA visited the site along with Pernem Municipal Council Chairperson Madhav Sinai Desai, Trupti Sawal Desai, Shivram Tukoji,…
