Detention of a boy and girl hailing from Gujarat at the Margao railway station has revealed that the boy had kidnapped the minor girl to Goa.
The 16-year old minor girl has since been sent to the Apna Ghar, Merces, while the 21-year has been arrested under section 41 of the Cr P C before intimating the incident to the Gujarat Police.
Konkan railway police station, SP Gurudas Gawade informed that when the boy and the girl were seen at the railway station, the patrolling staff on duty became suspicious over their movements. Inquiries later revealed that the duo had come down to Goa from Gujarat.
Further inquiries have revealed that a crime has been registered against the 21-year old boy for allegedly kidnaping the minor girl.
A police team from Gujarat is coming to Goa to take custody of the accused boy.
