The Maina Curtorim police have arrested two persons and allegedly seized from their possession drugs, including three grams each of Hydro ganja and Ecstasy, besides 2.5 grams of Amphetamines.
The value of the seized drugs is pegged around Rs 25,000 in the market. The police also seized the vehicle used by the two accused.
Police informed that the incident occurred late Wednesday night at Molla Sailabhat, Cavorim Chandor when the accused persons, namely Younoos Mataji, a resident of Pongirwal, Curchorem, and Parasappa Talawar, a native of Bijapur-Karnataka, were caught red-handed while in possession of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
