A youth from Madhya Pradesh was arrested on charges of kidnapping a minor girl from Malpem-Pernem.
According to reports, a 39-year-old labourer employed at a company in Malpem and a native of Bihar filed a police complaint accusing Anil Rawat (21) of Madhya Pradesh but presently staying at Malpem of kidnapping his minor daughter.
After registering the offence, a Pernem police team led by PI Vikram Naik and PSI Navin nabbed the accused at Gurgaon-Haryana with the help of Haryana police. The accused and victim girl were brought back to the State.
The accused has been arrested and further investigation is in progress under supervision of SP North Shobit Saxena and SDPO Pernem Siddhant Shirodkar.
