Rehbar Khan, who was working at a hair-cutting salon in Porvorim, was murdered on Monday night and the body was found near the Audit Bhavan in Porvorim. Police had arrested five accused who were involved in the murder, but the main accused Vikas Yadav was absconding.
Police mentioned that they used pressure tactics through his parents and friends, who were arrested, to compel Yadav to surrender to police. The efforts yielded results and Yadav later surrendered to Porvorim Police.
Meanwhile, police are continuing their search to locate the remaining accused involved in the murder case.
