Shripad visits Manipal for routine check-up, shows improvement

Union AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik on Monday visited Manipal Hospital in Dona Paula for a follow-up CT scan and a session of chest physiotherapy.

Dr Shekhar Salkar of Manipal Hospital said Naik's CT scan showed "very good improvement".

The Union minister completed a session of chest physiotherapy using the latest equipment imported from Norway with the help of Manipal's physiotherapy consultant.

He also visited MLA Dayanand Sopte, Dilip Parulekar who is in the ICU, and Harish Zantye, and wished them a speedy recovery.

Shripad was discharged from Manipal Hospital on September 12 after he made full recovery from Covid-19. He had tested positive for Covid-19 along with his wife on August 12 and was admitted to Manipal Hospital at Dona Paula on the following day.
