The Tiatr Academy of Goa (TAG) in collaboration with the CCP is organizing the 11th edition of its khell/fell (zomnivoile khell) competition between March 5-7 from 4 pm onwards at Azad Maidan, Panaji. In all, 12 troupes will be participating in the competition with 4 troupes presenting their khell each day.
Day One of the competition will see Visvas utor assa kai? by Anifia Rodrigues; Vichar Tuka?
By Santan D’Silva (Sansil De Benaulim); Bolaiki Pidear Zata by Antonio Rodrigues (Rodrigues de Benaulim) and Zaupa Ahlo Tench Zalem by Josean Afons.
On March 6, Michael D’Souza (Com.Michael) will be presenting his khell Tuzo; Antonio Rodrigues (Jack Rodson) will present Tujem; Jose Fernandes (Sov Sath Entertainers) will present Hem Lissaum Dekhichem and Jose Fernandes (JosEvon) will present Naddppon Naka.
March 7 will also have 4 zomnivoile khell including Rag Dhorinaka by Gloria Ferrao (Gloria De Navelim); Sorry by Luis Xavier Fernandes (Xavier De Maina); Salam Martam by Peter Fernandes (Peter De Colva) and Tum Mhunntana by Domnique Soares.
The prize distribution function will be held on March 7. TAG invites all khell tiatr lovers are requested to witness the competition in large numbers.
