CANACONA: Thunder showers were reported in different parts of Canacona on Saturday evening. Many motorists, particularly two-wheeler riders, and pedestrians were caught off-guard as thunder showers began at about 6 pm and continued for about 25 minutes.
Power supply got disrupted in many parts of the taluka and got restored in some areas by about 8.30 pm. Roads turned slippery and waterlogging was witnessed in some parts of the taluka, as motorists had to proceed with caution. A few incidents of two-wheelers skidding were also reported in some parts of Agonda and Khola.
