Plans afoot for wildlife safari park


PANAJI

Forest Minister Vishwajit Rane disclosed that a plan is in place to set up a 'wildlife safari park' in the State and that he had already discussed it with Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav and DG Forest, C P Goel.

Rane also said, the forest department is aiming to build state-of-the-art facilities to show-case Goa’s wildlife and environment within the next three years. 

He said, Bondla park will be transformed into an appealing location with good animals, and providing them the best possible living conditions adding, if necessary, the Forest Department will take assistance from the private sector through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contributions by which private firms will be permitted to adopt certain projects.
