PANAJI: Former Mapusa councillor Tarak M. Arolkar has been arrested by the Crime Branch in connection with an alleged Rs 40 lakh property fraud involving land at Assagao.According to the complaint filed by Pankaj Bajaj, Arolkar allegedly represented himself as the owner and sole authorised person to transact a property bearing Survey No. 37/4 at Assagao, Bardez.
