The Goamiles taxi fare for 4 persons from railway station to Chinchinim was charged at Rs 257 and Rs 213 from Margao to Chinchinim recently.

Please compare those fares with taxi charges by our local operators for the same distance of 9 km one way. The rising cost of fuel affects every taxi or rickshaw operator. Rickshaw operators charge for the same distance (one way) Rs300 from those travelling from Margao to Chinchinim for 3 passengers while it is Rs 350 for those travelling from Chinchinim to Margao.
