The South Goa district hospital at Margao looks good from outside and from inside it is clean with the facilities but it is really hurting and sad to see that there is a shortage of doctors. Also, the nurses in the hospital doesn’t know how to speak with the patients and should undergo training for that. Nurses over there claim that there are very few doctors to take care of the patients.
The treatment of the patient in the district hospital should be fast which can save the patient’s life and not to put in risk by the slow response. We cannot say that the district hospital is free of cost because our tax payers money is used to run it and the government must see that all goes well to take care of the common man. There should be proper treatment, bed sheets should be regularly changed and the proper bed should be given to the patient according to their illness.
I request our CM and Health Minister to look into this matter and increase the doctors in the hospital for the health and wellness of the people of State.
