Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra has now moved the Supreme Court challenging her expulsion from the Lok Sabha.
I feel the reason why Moitra was hurriedly expelled in such a fashion is because she was constantly asking too many daring questions in Parliament over a host of issues.
Was Moitra caught on camera accepting cash and gifts for asking questions in Parliament in a sting operation unlike some 11 MPs who were expelled in 2005 after they were shown in a TV channel's sting operation accepting money to ask questions in the Parliament?
Then why was she given such a harsh punishment and her Parliamentary seat/membership too was cancelled in a such a hurry based on a controversially prepared 'report' by a bunch of BJP appointed guys of a so-called 'Ethics Committee'?
Supreme Court needs to take up this matter on top priority and give it's judgement after a thorough hearing from all sides.
