The consecration of Ram Lalla in the permanent temple at Ayodhya on January 22, 2024 was a historic occasion for millions of devotees. During the inauguration, the Prime Minister described the event as the beginning of a new chapter in India's civilizational journey and an occasion for introspection. He also spoke about his own spiritual preparation for the ceremony and highlighted Lord Ram's timeless virtues. He emphasized that the temple should inspire every citizen to contribute to the welfare of society through honesty, discipline, selfless service, and moral character. The recent happenings concerning the temple's administration have prompted many devotees to ask whether the principles of transparency, justice, fairness, and ethical conduct are being followed. If the Ram Temple is to serve as a beacon of moral leadership, its trustees and administrators must demonstrate, through their actions, the same commitment to righteousness that was emphasized during the consecration ceremony. It is therefore hoped that the temple administration will respond to legitimate public concerns with openness and accountability, ensuring that the values of Lord Ram continue to inspire not only the nation but also those entrusted with serving his temple.
