Finally, the majestic Ram temple was consecrated and thrown open to public on January 22. The temple was on the agenda of BJP even before it came to power, but the Opposition is now making it a political issue.
The Opposition claims it was hijacked by the BJP when temple belonged to the whole country.
On December 6, 1992 thousands of karsevaks marched to the Babri Masjid site and demolished the structured. Later after a lengthy court battle the Supreme Court ruled in favour of the temple.
BJP had always said mandir vahi banaayenge jahan Ram aaye they. Ultimately, the promise was kept and the dream of Ram temple turned into reality when the same was inaugurated on January 22.
Now that the temple is completed before the Lok Sabha elections the Opposition feels this is a political agenda. Ram temple has united India and has brought back the spirit of Hinduism.
The Opposition should stop politicising the issue and instead focus on strengthening their parties for the coming elections.
