Hate mongering has an expiry date too

The BJP's 2024 Lok Sabha campaign relies heavily on communal hate and disinformation spearheaded by the Prime Minister himself. Modi has claimed in several vitriolic speeches that Congress if elected to power would redistribute wealth including the mangalsutras and gold owned by women to the Muslims whom he described as 'ghuspaithiye' (infiltrators) and 'those who produce more children'.  In an abhorrent attempt to further demonise the minorities, the BJP has been releasing animated videos on social media. Their first video on Instagram got a whopping 1.6 million views before being taken down. The animated clip stereotypes Muslims and shows Rahul Gandhi giving a plethora of benefits to them by snatching away the rights of SC, STs and OBCs. The video then goes on to paint Muslims as invaders who looted all of ancient India's wealth and claims that the Congress party's manifesto is nothing but the Muslim League's ideology in disguise.  Hate mongering and fear mongering too has an expiry date like everything else, the Indian voter shall hopefully give a befitting reply to this fount of evil come June 4.
