The Goa government is working towards the acquisition of the Moti Dongor land, which may culminate in the rehabilitation of the migrant inhabitants atop the hillock itself.
Margao MLA Digambar Kamat declared via the press that his intent is to give decent living standards etc to those residing in the area I request Kamat to prove his true intent by offering his own personal land and financial resources to re-habilite the people, instead of using property that is not his and tax payers money.
If the whole exercise is done by the government, it may personally benefit Kamat. It would only be fair to ask Kamat to share his wealth in rehabilitating the residents of the area.
