Chief Minister Pramod Sawant was seen watching the latest controversial movie 'The Kerala Story' in Inox theatre, Panjim along with some of his close colleagues the other day and later advising Goans to watch this particular film in large numbers by claiming that the said film was a must watch film as it was made based on true facts from Kerala & was about terrorism. Well, if what Sawant has claimed is 100% true then how come the director of the movie has himself put a disclaimer in the film clearly saying that this film is a work of pure fiction and nothing else? And if Sawant is so much concerned about terrorism then why he has never advised Goans to watch the BBC documentary on the 2002 Gujarat riots as well in Goa till date? Hey, didn't we see Sawant similarly promoting "The Kashmir files" (a film which was directed by film-maker Atul Agnihotri) based on half baked lies on the Kashmiri Pandits genocide in the 1990s in Kashmir with the sole intention of spreading long term hatred against the Muslim community in the state. I think that our CM Pramod Sawant should henceforth learn to concentrate on how to govern his state first. Because Goans are definitely not bullies, they are in their senses and highly educated. So, let them alone decide whether the above mentioned movie is worth watching or not in Goa. Long live individual freedom. Down with communal hatred and dictatorship.
