Goa swimming Association has announced the State team that will compete at 33rd Sub-junior National Aquatic Championship 2016 to be held in Banglaore from June 29 to July 2. The championship is being organised by Karnataka Amateur Swimming Association under the aegis of Swimming Federation of India.
The Goa team will be represented by Vansh Bhandari, Ojas Karapurkar, Yash Sawardekar, John Willocks, Sanjana Prabhugaonker, Gauri Halarnkar, Durva Mahale, Anaika Afonso, Ved Nagarsekar, Yash Gaonker, Shyam Signapurkar, Nigel Fernandes, Ivan Pereira, Mithika Karapurkar, Tanish Murgud, Tanvi Nadkarni, Maria Dsouza and Megan De Almeida. The Junior National Aquatic Championship diving team for Goa will be represented by Nikita Seth, Aalhad Vivek Chati, Nikhil Nagvekar, Lyzander Gomes and Mithil Joshi.
The officials on behalf of the State team will be led by swimming coach Deepak Chhetry, Inacio Raposo, team manager, P Narsimallu, diving coach and manger Priya Fernandes.
