Sesa Football Academy is set to face a significant challenge as they prepare to take on Downtown Heroes FC from Kashmir in the I-League 3 playoffs at Naihati Stadium, Kolkata, on Thursday.
The playoffs will be conducted in a single round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group earning promotion to the 2024-25 I-League 2. “This is our first step in preparing for I-League 3, and we will do our best both on and off the field. I want to thank the management for giving us the chance to fulfill our fans' dreams,” Dias said. He stressed the importance of improving conditions and making progress as a team.
Acknowledging the competitiveness of Group A, he remarked, “All teams have made progress, and we will do our utmost to face our opponents in Kolkata. We are thoroughly prepared for this campaign.”
