Goa University organised the inter collegiate kabaddi championship for men on December 12 and 13, at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, Goa University.
MES’s Vasant Joshi College Of Arts & Commerce, Zuarinagar, won thier fourth consecutive title by defeating Swami Vivekananda VM College of Commerce, Bori by a score of 45-35.
Earlier in the semis finals, MES’s Vasant Joshi College of Arts & Commerce, Zuarinagar defeated Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Quepem by a score of 73-23 and Swami Vivekananda VM College of Commerce, Bori defeated Shree Mallikarjun & Shri.Chetan Manju Desai College of Arts and Commerce, Canacona by a score of 44-26.
The best player was awarded to Lohit Naik of MES’s Vasant Joshi College of Arts & Commerce, Zuarinagar.

The chief guest for the presentation ceremony was Prof. Nilesh Borde, Vice Dean (Academics), Goa Bussiness School, Goa University along with Balachandra Jadar, Asst. Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University presented medals and trophies to the winners and runners ups.
The winning team comprised of Husain Yalavigi, Rahul Nagavat, Lohit Naik, Ali Ahmed Goundi, Navin Goudar, Rajeev Pawar, Beelu Lamani, Anand Madar, Suresh, Hadpad, Sachidanand Biradar, Siddhant Lamani and Kartik Golsangi
