The Salcete FC U-15 team won the GFA South District 2nd Division League with an all-win record. They won all their four matches and collected the maximum possible 12 points. Spearheaded by their talented striker Josely Gomes, they scored 30 goals and conceded only two. Josely contributed 18 goals to this impressive tally.
SFC U-15 will now meet the runners up of the North District GFA U-15 tournament Dunes SC on the May 6 at 5:30 pm at the Rosary Church ground, Navelim. The North District winners, Don Bosco Oratory will now meet South District runners-up Sirlim SC in the other semi-final at the same venue at 4:15 pm.
