Will the government step in to rectify the defects? Bumper to bumper traffic at a traffic signal at Nuvem.

Commuters believe that constructing underpasses or grade separators at the key junctions on the Nuvem stretch would not only eliminate signal delays but also restore the bypass's original purpose of ensuring uninterrupted movement of highway traffic.

A senior PWD, NH official pointed out that the department has taken cognisance of the traffic ground reality at Nuvem. “We have taken cognisance of the ground reality. The PWD will take up works to bring the changes after receiving centre’s nod and funds”, the official added.
