A 71-year-old retired man from St Cruz lost Rs 3.13 lakh in a cyber fraud after sharing OTP and CVV details over a WhatsApp call. Old Goa Police registered a case under BNS and IT Act, and during investigation, tracked accused Suman Ghughu to Kolkata. With local police help, the accused was arrested on June 27 after surveillance. A court in Kolkata granted a three-day transit remand, and the accused was brought to Goa. Further investigation is underway.
