Students in remote areas
devoid of education: AAP

PANAJI: The Aam Aadmi Party noted that though schools have opened virtually but same problems prevalent last year persist and the government has done nothing to rectify the position.

AAP convener Rahul Mhambre pointed out that in Sattari and other remote places in Goa, connectivity continues to be a problem and hence students cannot participate in the online classes.

“This problem was there last year also and chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant had promised to install broadband connectivity in remote areas so students could participate in the classes,” however he lamented that nothing was done for one year and the same problem continues.
