Fr Fernandes feted on birthday
PANAJI: The Our Lady of Health High School at Cuncolim celebrated the birthday of its manager Fr Manuel Fernandes on Friday.
The theme of the birthday celebrations was 'Not to be served but to Serve.'
The programmed started with a special prayer service conducted by teachers for the manager.
Later, the teachers along with students presented a bouquet of flowers and gifts to Fr Fernandes. The students then presented an entertainment programme.
Fr Fernandes thanked the teachers and students for the birthday celebrations. Headmaster John Furtado also spoke on the occasion. Senior teacher Anthony D'Lima was the main coordinator and compered the programme.
