The Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today met Vice Chairman of NITIAayog Suman Bery in Delhi, wherein the later was informed about steps taken by Goa government towards greener Goa project.
"Informed Suman Bery about the Blended Finance Facility planned by the Govt of Goa with the support of the World Bank for a Climate & Disaster-Resilient Greener Goa project," Sawant tweeted after the meeting.
He said that this is one of its kind project includes restoration of protective bunds for revival of Khazan areas and revival of socio-economic traditional knowledge based practices and initiatives in the renewable energy sector.
The meeting was also attended by Goa Environment Minister Alexio Sequeria.
