Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday said organisations supporting startups through various initiatives would boost the plans to make Goa a startup hub.
Sawant was speaking to reporters on Saturday morning after inaugurating the Goa Innovation and Startup Times (GIST-23) at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus.
“If such programs happen at the institution level, it will definitely give a boost to startups. The government can offer all kinds of support, but the guiding process has been taken by BITS Pilani through this programme and we request them to hold many such programmes in the future.”
“We also feel that other institutions must also take such initiatives so that startups can grow and we can make Goa the startup hub. Industrialists can also conduct such programmes so that Goa can become a startup and IT hub with all the support extended by the Government,” said Sawant.
